Motorcycle Repair Schools

In 2002 there were over 4.3 million motorcycles in use in the US . During the late 1980s and early 1990s the numbers fell by 31% to around 3.7 million, according to the Federal Highway Administration. They have started to regain popularity both as a leisure vehicle and as a more environmentally friendly way of providing single person transportation.

Motorcycle Technician Schools

A large proportion of the work undertaken by any motorcycle technician involves routine maintenance of motorcycles, often following a set checklist and, in larger repair shops, using computerized equipment as a diagnostic tool. The adjustment, repair or replacement of parts is an intrinsic element of the maintenance process. As a technician you'll be expected to use your knowledge and experience to diagnose problems quickly and make a suitable repair. As motorcycle engines become increasingly complicated, employers really prize the kind of thorough technical grounding provided at a technician school, giving students the edge over individuals who only have experience on the job.
